So the chest rub gets a little softer in warmer weather if applying it, but it definitely helps me not to cough. All I have to do is smell it so I keep some in my purse in case I get a dry throat and don’t have water!

I use it often - it is less harsh then Vicks - I still like Vicks . This rub is gentle yet effective. I’ve often swollen glands ( my neck):who knows why! I rub these along with my neck and chest nearly each night. Honestly. It is soothing and easy to breathe in!
