1 Start small, and with what you use the most.
Switching to a more natural lifestyle doesn’t have to be all-or-nothing! Every change you make is just as important, even if they seem small! Pick one product that you are almost out of, and use it up! When it’s gone, swap it out for a natural alternative. That deodorant stick that you’re using up every month can be traded for our natural Deodorant that will last you for months! Ditch the aerosol hair spray and trade it for our more effective Voluminous Dry Shampoo! We’re not telling you to Marie Kondo your entire bathroom stash right now, but when what you’ve got is gone, make the shift. Slow and steady, and you’re on your way!
2 Read your labels!
How many “natural products” are you using that are about as natural as your co-worker’s platinum blonde hair? Before you buy that flowery-labelled, “all-natural ingredients” cream, flip it over and check out the ingredients list. If it’s filled with numbers, colours, scary-sounding chemicals, and “natural fragrances,” step away. Many products market themselves as healthy and natural, but they’re filled with additives, colours, fragrances, and all kinds of things you don’t need or want in your life! Our ingredients list? Actually natural, and transparent as can be. We’re not here to hide anything!
3 Make the most of the products you’ve already got!
Do you know how many of the Beauty From Bees products you’ve already got on hand can be multi-purposed? A splash of Bubble Bath has your kids making beards like Santa, but we know those natural bubbles aren’t always easy on the budget. Did you know that you can give your kids’ hair a quick scrub with that same bath water, without adding shampoo? One product, two uses! If you’re past the pregnancy and diaper stages, those bump and diaper creams can be repurposed for so many skin ailments. Baby Serum and Bubble Bath can be used together to make your own diaper wipes. So many of the natural products you’ve got in your home have way more than one purpose! Can your store-brand diaper cream say that?
Use it up, switch it out, and make the most of the products you choose. Natural living doesn’t have to be complicated, and it doesn’t have to be an overnight revolution. Commit to changing out one product a month, and by the end of 2021, you’ll have a dozen different ways that you’ve moved you and your family towards a healthier lifestyle, inside and out!
